To show our commitment to Catholic social teaching about those less fortunate than ourselves and loving our neighbour, we regularly support a number of charities.   This can include raising funds are bringing in much-needed items of food or clothing.  It can also include responses to national events such as the Covid pandemic and the use of our grounds and resources by those who need it.

Our chosen charities for whom we fundraise during the course of the year are:

CAFOD

Mission Together

Missio

St Leonard’s Hospice

Foodbank:
In response to the Covid pandemic, a parish foodbank permanently relocated to school. This enables us to support those most in need in our community without prejudice. Our Pastoral Support Worker builds a rapport with each family being supported according to their specific needs. All donations are welcome and can be left in the school on a Friday morning.

Details of all fundraising events and activities are included on our school newsletter.  We thank you for supporting us and enabling us to help others.

We are thankful to our parishes for the support they give, financially or otherwise, to enable us to support members of our school community. This has included enabling pupils to attend retreats, contribution to foodbank, heating vouchers and school uniform. Furthermore, parishes have purchased specific items for pupils, such as rosary beads and Year 6 leavers gifts.
