At Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, the safeguarding of your child(ren) is of paramount importance.  We work hard to provide a safe, caring, positive and stimulating environment that promotes the spiritual, social, physical and moral development of the whole child.

We take our responsibilities very seriously under section 175 of the Education Act 2002 to safeguard and promote the welfare of the children; and to work with other agencies to ensure adequate arrangements within our school to identify, assess and support those children who are suffering harm.

We recognise that all staff and Governors have a full and active part of play in protecting our pupils from harm, and that the children’s welfare is our paramount concern.
