At Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, creative prayer is an important part of our faith journey. It allows our pupils to explore their relationship with God in meaningful, imaginative, and personal ways. Through art, music, quiet reflection, indoor and outdoors, in silence, in writing or aloud, children are invited to offer prayers in many different ways. Creative prayer enables  pupils to understand that prayer can happen anywhere and in many different forms – it is a conversation with God that comes from the heart.

By sharing in creative prayer, our school community deepens its collective spiritual life, bringing fresh energy and joy to our liturgies, class worship, and whole-school celebrations. It reminds us that every prayer, in whatever form it is offered, brings us closer to God and strengthens our sense of belonging as one family in faith.

The documents below outline ideas for Creative Prayer, and support staff in ways to deliver this across school.
