The class teacher in Year 2 St John is Ms Brown.

Year 2 is a pivotal year in a child’s education as they come to the end of their time in Key Stage 1. We are able to build on the knowledge, skills and experiences of their journey so far. For our school, it is also children’s last year ‘downstairs’ and pupils have the opportunity to act as role models for our Lower School phase before they move into Key Stage 2.

Our Class Saint

St John the Baptist:

John the Baptist was a mission preacher active in the area of Jordan River in the early 1st century AD. He was a cousin of Jesus and is sometimes alternatively referred to as John the Baptiser. Pope Pius XII declared John Baptist de La Salle the Patron Saint of Teachers. His feast day is 24th June.
