Hello!

The staff team in Year 6 are Mrs Cheney, Miss Scaife and Mrs Thorpe.

As pupils come towards finishing their time with us at OLQM, it is a privilege to lead them through their final year. In  Year 6, we work hard to be role models for the rest of the school. Pupils show this through taking part in a large number of pupil leadership opportunities.

On this page you will find a brief overview of our plans for the year, some general reminders and useful websites to support learning at home

Our Class Saints

St Martin of Tours:

Martin of Tours, also known as Martin the Merciful, was the third bishop of Tours. He is best known for the account of his using his sword to cut his cloak in two, to give half to a beggar clad only in rags in the depth of winter. His shrine in Tours became a famous stopping-point for pilgrims on the road to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. His feast day is 11th November.

St Paul Miki:

Paul Miki was a Roman Catholic Japanese Jesuit seminarian, martyr and saint, one of the Twenty-six Martyrs of Japan. St. Paul Miki is the Patron saint of Japan and his Feast Day is celebrated on February 6th
